Period Poverty Awareness Drive

When: 5/14/25, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Outside of Building 7

The Center for Access Services (CAS) is collaborating with MILE, Lead, and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Springfield Alumnae Chapter, for the CAS Period Poverty Awareness Drive!  It is vital that we come together to support our fellow students who often struggle to access necessary menstrual products.

is May 12-18, 2025. In recognition of Period Poverty Awareness, we are collecting menstrual products for the Ram Mini Mart! Donations can be dropped off at Lead and CAS.

On Wednesday, May 14th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., outside of Building 7. We will be hosting a Period Poverty Event aimed at addressing the critical issue of menstrual product accessibility among our student community.

This event will include a collection drive for menstrual products, providing an opportunity for everyone to contribute to this essential cause. Additionally, we will have various women supportive services table vendors present to offer resources and information.

Together, we can make a positive impact and ensure that everyone has the resources they need.
